I wanted to share my Home Office layout. I love Pottery Barn furniture for the home office because it is modular and I was able to pick pieces to fit my needs. I have had it about 6 years.
Below is a diagram of how I stay organized:
1- Adjustable Shelving – helps for adding extra storage
2- My idea notebooks – see earlier post on these
3- Boxes or totes for keeping documents
4- Cork board for messages – I keep my wireless info here for guests and passwords
5- Shutter for laying out concepts
6- My inspirational quote to keep myself grounded
What methods do you have for organizing your office?

I just did a post about my home workspace too!

I’ll make sure to post yours on our blog this week. (looks like you have a lot more storage which is nice!)
Grace – what a cool blog!! I got some office ideas from your posts. You are welcome to use mine in any way you want.
I so need some organization in my house! What a good post!!!!
Thanks for the great post!
I use a recipe box and index cards to keep all of my login information.
I keep all of my computer disks in binders. I have a binder for all of the disks and information about my current computer. I also have a binder that holds all of my other software disks and info.
I also use removable hooks (3m?) to hold the cables for my phone, mp3 player, etc. I use these a lot, so I like to keep them near the computer.
