I love to send family and friends things to let them know I'm thinking about them. Whether it's a card or a little something – it's just fun to send (and get) things in the mail from people you love. My sister-in-law and her husband (Hope and Kevin) became home owners for the first time, and my good friend from college and her husband had their second child (Heidi and Bob). I wanted to send them a celebratory gift in the mail, and I wanted them to be fun yet practical.
Hope and Kevin (who live in New Jersey) are very healthy people who are very active. They both play rugby and are always exercising, and they are always hanging out with friends and family. For them, I decided to fill a Rubbermaid carafe with packets of the new crystal light "pure fitness" and gatorade propel (Hope's fave). The carafe is so versatile and great for entertaining, so hopefully they will get lots of use out of it!
For Heidi and Bob, I chose our modular canisters and filled them with various food items. My thought was they could use these for cereal, puffs (or whatever those things are called that kids eat), and other "grown-up" foods like pasta and dried fruit. I also know Heidi loves her [decaf] coffee, so I included a variety of bags of coffee. I put the foods into the canisters, and put the canisters back into the original box. This way, when they open the box, it will be a double treat – canisters AND food!

Nice info here. Keep us these great posts!
Thanks Faith! Thanks for reading!
Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
It’s always good to hear that. Thanks Tabitha!
That’s so clever! My single brother just moved into his first place and this is a cool way to help fill his pantry and give him some storage solutions! Thanks for these great tips!
We have so many storage solutions – and they have so many purposes! I just did a post about using a shoe organizer for bags (post is called “Shoe Holder = Organized Bags!” if you want to check it out!). The shoe organizer isn’t our product that I used, but storage solutions in general are flexible for fit the needs of anyone and any space. Good luck to your brother, and thanks for the note Debbie!
