So, in my last post I mentioned my fiance and I are moving.
We are preparing for the big move and at the same time planning a wedding the weekend before we leave. We wanted to do it before we left the U.S. since planning a wedding from abroad would drive me nuts, but it ended up only being 9 weeks lead time once we made the decision….and now there are 7 weeks left. Whew!
My over-organizing personality has a tendency to backfire sometimes in the way of stress. I knew that I can sometimes get overwhelmed with projects that I have a personal interest in, so I actually hired a wedding planner. Because of all we had going on with the move, it was my fiance + my present to each other. I have had a number of people say it was the best thing I could have done and I am coming to discover that I whole-heartedly agree.
What a nice thing it is to outsource the details to someone else so I can enjoy the day. What details do you outsource to make your life easier and more enjoyable?
