I recently moved to a new desk/cube at work. It was a great opportunity to go through all of my things/files/samples/drawers and purge what I could and organize the rest. In my new space I ended up with this "slot" of space between my filing drawer and my computer tower. I hated to see the wasted space – and the desk feet and legs were taking up the room on the floor so nothing flat could sit there without wobbling. (…and I had to do something more orderly than tossing my gym bag there…)
I had to get creative! I found a few 2-cup Easy Find Lids containers that were missing their lids. I had to see if they would work….would they really be the right height…?? YES! They were just the right height to boost a Cleverstore tote above the desk feet. With four containers flipped upside down, the tote could sit flat. Ahhhhhhh, much better…
There's room for TWO Cleverstore clear totes!! (Using the clear ones makes it easy to see what is in there without taking the lid off.) In the above pic they are both empty, but what I've found works the best is that I store things in the bottom tote that need less often (canvas bags, extra food storage containers, snacks, possibly my gym bag); and the top tote holds things I use several times a day (my purse, keys, etc). So far it's working like a charm – and I love that I'm making the most of my new space!

That’s a fabulous idea! Love it.
Thank you! It’s fun to be using our product for the solution – even if it might not be the prettiest thing!
