Congrats on letting go of your excess! Assuming at end of your decluttering process you were able to put everything away, then the key to maintaining your new-found order is to create new habits. Top of the list could be to put things away after you’ve finished using them. If you don’t manage to put everything away immediately, create a daily routine of walking through your house and putting away any errant items before bed. (Be sure to get your family in on the action!) You might also need to change your acquisition habits. Before you buy anything, ask yourself where you’ll store it. If you don’t have room for the item, don’t buy it. Or let an equivalent-sized item go when you bring a new one in.
