How do I organize towels in the laundry room – I only have one shelf?

First things first–determine how many towels you need (a family of 4 needs no more than 8-12 towels). And since you’re extra tight on space, you’ll want beach towels to pull double duty and have some act as regular towels. There are plenty of ways to fold a towel but here’s my advice: towels are best folded lengthwise into thirds and then folded in half, twice. That way the rounded edge faces out without being bulkier than the middle. To keep them uniform and from toppling over, you can position shelf dividers in between stacks. And if the shelf is really deep, invest in a pull out drawer to utilize the entire area while keeping things accessible.

Beth Zeigler knew she was on an organizing path when at the age of 5 she was maximizing her closet space to function as a second bedroom for her dolls. Throw in her background of delegating tasks to her younger brother throughout childhood–and her transition to organizing developed quite organically. Check out her web site at Bneato!

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on numerous websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any help would be really appreciated!

Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.

The reason I ask is because your layout seems
different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

I also like to roll up towels (fold in thirds, then roll) and then place on the shelf. They seem to stay on the shelf pretty well this way and you can pull them out without messing them up.
Definitely agree that shelf dividers and bins on shelves help keep towels neat.
