What is the best way to organize pots and pans?

Pots and Pans, Pots and Pans… I’m thinking most of us have enough pots and pans to  supply a small army base! We can’t possibly be expected to use all of them for one meal can we?!

First hunker down and determine which pots and pans you really need to keep. Ponder the following… What is the the largest meal you’ll ever cook in your home? Do you have 3 of the same size pots? Which are your favorites?

I suggest keeping the pots on one shelf and the pans on another.  Keep the lids on the pots if possible, however often you don’t have a lid for each item so Rubbermaid’s Slide Out Lid Organizer comes in quite handy. If you need to stack them, flip the lid upside down creating a flat surface to stack upon. Pans can be stored easily using the Rubbermaid Slide Out Lid & Pan Organizer making maximum use of a deep cupboard.

If you have items you only use for big holidays, consider storing them elsewhere keeping your most convienent cupboard for the most often used pots and pans.
