Use Bento for Gifts

Here at the office there have been a lot of babies being born and people getting married. A group of us was chatting during one of these celebrations and of course unique gifts became on of the topics of conversations. My co-worker Claire had the brilliant idea below using Bento:

“I have been using Bento containers as a clever special occasion gift boxes. It would be perfect  for Mother’s Day, a wedding or baby shower, or even a house-warming gift!

For a recent baby shower I gave a bath-themed gift. I purchased an XL Bento Container and put bath books, washcloths and lotions, a faucet cover and temperate gauge in the individual sections. It looked great and was much more fun for her to open than a regular gift box.

I used the Topper as a lid, tied a ribbon through the handles, tied on top, and slid a gift card & book underneath.

The mom-to-be loved it! She ended up with two great gifts, bath items for baby and the Bento containers that she can use in the nursery or around the house!”

Thanks Claire for letting me share your idea and for the photos!!
