Depending on your specific circumstances, I’ve listed a few ways to keep your cloth diapers organized and easily accessible. When you find the solution that works for you, be sure to come back and tell us all about it. Thanks for your question!
Use a container
Find a container that:
- You like
- Is big enough to fit them
- Has a handle, if you need to move it around from room to room
Consider taking one of the diapers, prefolds, and covers to your local store and do a quick test with baskets and bins that you like. When you find ones that work for you, put them on top of the changing table (if you have one) or dresser.
Store them in a drawer
An alternate option would be to store them in a dresser drawer. You can separate each set of items using dividers or baskets that can fit inside the drawer.
Use a shoe organizer
Shoe organizers can be used to store many things besides shoes! You can mount one (or two) to a wall or put one behind a door, and you can also store your diapering accessories, like cleaning solutions, wipes, and diaper cream in them as well (if you have enough room). These types of organizers typically have 20-24 pockets.
Use a hanging shelf organizer
Shelf organizers are typically used for sweaters, blankets, shoes, and other items that you need to have easy access to. They hang inside the closet and have several compartments that can hold diapers, prefolds, and covers. Some models also have pockets on the outside for storing diapering accessories.
