If you have a variety of storage spaces around your home, it can be easy to lose track of what’s kept where. One way to get around this is to sort everything into categories so that you can designate one storage area as the place for one type of item and another storage area for another category of items. Putting like with like really does make it easier to keep track of things. When possible, try to store items near where you use them, which makes them easier to put them away. And don’t forget to label your newly designated storage spaces.
If, as an apartment-dweller, you have limited storage space, remember that less is more when it comes to your stuff. Weed out what you don’t use or love. Try not to buy in bulk and try to purchase items that can serve multiple purposes.
