Forty to 50 feet is a lot of space. Lucky you! I’m assuming that this is wall space. You could mount shelves on the wall and use light-weight plastic or cardboard containers to store your various craft items.
In addition to shelves, you could mount magnetic spice tins to store items like beads. You can also use pegboard or slat board to hold containers for small items. And don’t forget about hooks! Use hooks on pegboard or mount a row of hooks to hold items like scissors, tape and ribbon.
Here are a couple of sources for inspiration: The book The Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker, by Wendy Smedley and Aby Garvey is focused on scrapping spaces, but the ideas can be applied to lots of different crafts. Also, Pinterest is a huge source for inspiration. Just search on “craft organization” and you’ll see loads of innovative ideas.
