This is a great category to get organized! Not only are canned goods a bit of a challenge (it’s hard to see what you have at a glance and folks typically over buy for this exact reason). When you’re coming up with an organizing solution for your canned goods, think about how many you typically have on hand. Do you need a lot of space for your canned goods or will a lazy susan do? Once you have a better understanding of your needs, figuring out a plan will be a piece of cake! Here are my 4 favorite ways to get this category under control.
1. Lazy Susan Utilize corners of a pantry with a lazy susan to easily find what you’re looking for.
2. Shelf Helper These are great for cabinets or a pantry shelf. Allows you to orient canned good both ways; across as well as lining up similar types of cans behind the front row).
3. Can Organizer A can organizer is a step-up to the shelf helper but similar in that they are positioned on a shelf in a kitchen cabinet or pantry.
4. Roll Out Drawers The luxury choice, roll out drawers are a little bit pricier but allow you to maximize the entire depth of a shelf with ultimate ease.

Beth Zeigler knew she was on an organizing path when at the age of 5 she was maximizing her closet space to function as a second bedroom for her dolls. Throw in her background of delegating tasks to her younger brother throughout childhood–and her transition to organizing developed quite organically.
